A method of the design an adaptive balancing reactive compensator in four-wire systems with linear loads and nonsinusoidal voltage is described this article. The compensation founded on Currents’ Physical Components (CPC) – based power theory three-phase voltages currents. built two sub-compensators Y structure, respectively. reduces current zero sequence symmetrical component unbalanced current. negative positive scattered remain uncompensated. It because shunt compensators do not have any capability for that. Thyristor Switched Inductors (TSIs) enable susceptance control branches, referred to article as Controlled Susceptance (TCS) branches. Periodic switching thyristors these branches causes generation harmonic currents, particular third-order harmonic. Moreover, presence supply harmonics, a resonance equivalent capacitance distribution system inductance can occur. These harmful phenomena suggested were reduced by selection special structure TCS their LC parameters. presented synthesis was verified numerical example results computer modeling load compensator.
